EA’s Apex Legends Mobile has finally launched globally and is available to download on iOS and Android for the Indian players as well. The highly anticipated battle royale title is finally available and it also brings along an exclusive legend.
The game consists of your standard battle royale mode and Arenas. The latest set of patch notes also reveal that a Training mode called ‘Advanced Training Level’ is also available. The game will also feature 9 legends form the PC and console version of Apex Legends along with a new Legend: Fade.
There is also a character named Fade in Valorant, but this Fade is vastly different. According to his character profile “Ignacio Huamaní was the youngest in a family of military-tech hunters. Working together, they made a living “recovering” weaponry and selling it to the highest bidder. As the youngest, he was the lookout, and eager to prove he could handle more. So he took on a contract with a mysterious client, and acquired the suit for him. But it was a trap: his family died, and the suit propelled him into another dimension. It’s been a long journey, but he’s finally back, and ready to find justice and redemption in the Apex Games.”
As every legend comes with their own Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate abilities, Fade also brings some of his own to the mix. Take a look at his abilities, below:
Fade gains a short movement speed boost at the end of his slide.
Fade’s suit rips him backwards through another dimension, phasing him to his previous location.
Fade throws an activator core from his suit. The resulting explosion phases everyone within the radius for a few seconds making them unable to deal or receive damage.
Along with the global launch, there are also a bunch of bug fixes that have been deployed to ensure everything runs smoothly. Additionally, Arena mode also has a new map called Overflow and a new Team Fill feature is also released.
Furthermore, there are a couple of updates to the in-game shop, Weapons, and the legend perk system as well. The game is available for download on iOS and Android devices and will require a minimum of 3GB of free space.
