Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 is out on Netflix and fans have been waiting for the final two episodes. Just before the episodes dropped on the streaming platform, Noah Schnapp got fans worried for Will Byers as he took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself crying on his story after watching the finale of the show. He also added, “Happy Stranger things finale” as a caption to the photo while looking tearful.
The emotional reaction by Schnapp worried Stranger Things fans online for Will Byers’ fate, which is the character that he plays on the show. When Season 4 Volume 1 came out, among the many different discussions about his character, Byer’s sexuality was also one of the main topics.
Fans have speculated that Byers will finally come out to his best friend Mike Wheeler, who is played by Finn Wolfhard. Fans online have been wondering if Schnapp’s reaction was an emotional one to Byers coming out or if it’s something more ill-fated.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 sees three different plotlines as the show takes place between Hawkins, California, and Russia. After several teens are killed in their small town, Dustin and his friends find out that a powerful creature from the Upside Down is behind the murders. They name this entity Vecna and investigate how to stop it from creating more chaos in their town.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 released on July 1 on Netflix. The two episodes are the longest in the series’ history, you might as well call them movies with their massive runtimes that go over one hour 20 minutes.
